What is the recovery after laser liposuction?
Laser liposuction recovery depends on the areas treated. High definition laser liposuction alone is usually used for relatively small circumscribed areas, and then there is not much recovery.

Do I need general anesthesia for laser liposuction?
No, laser liposuction is a local anesthesia procedure.

Is it possible to remove larger areas of fat with laser liposuction?
For larger areas of fat, we recommend to combine jet
liposuction and laser liposuction.
Jet liposuction is used for removing larger amounts of deep fat, and laser
liposuction is used for the superficial layers for effective and even skin
retraction.
For us,the combination of jet liposuction and high definition laser liposuction is highly beneficial and the gold standard in liposuction surgery giving excellent results.

When is conventional tumescent technique preferable?
In our practice never.
Jet liposuction and high definition laser liposuction are much more precise, safer and less traumatic than tumescent liposuction, which we believe must not be used any more.

How much can a Brazilian butt lift increase the size of my buttocks?
Naturally, the main factor determining how much increase is possible is the amount of extra fat the patient can spare for augmentation of the buttocks.
500-800 cc are possible.

How long will I recover after a Brazilian butt lift?
In most cases, the recovery after Brazilian butt lift surgery is around 3-4 days.

Can I combine a Brazilian butt lift with implants?
Generally speaking yes, you can.
However, we avoid implants in buttock augmentation wherever possible.

When do I see my final result after my Brazilian butt lift ?
With the jet liposuction technique fat transfer “take” after the Brazilian butt lift is very high, so usually not too much fat is absorbed.
Most of the swelling will subside around 2 weeks after surgery.

Yes you can. although we will prefer general anesthesia as more comfortable for patients.
Local anesthesia in rhinoplasty is usually reserved for nasal tip corrections.

When am I social after rhinoplasty ?

Usually after one week after rhinoplasty surgery.

Does rhinoplasty hurt ?

Rhinoplasty is not a very painful procedure.
Analgesia (pain killer consumption) after rhinoplasty is amongst the lowest of all cosmetic surgery procedures.
The analgesia score (measured in a 1-10 scale) is 1,8, so about the lowest possible.

When do I see the final result of my rhinoplasty ?

Removal of humps on the back of the nose in rhinoplasty is visible immediately, there is always some degree of swelling which may take some weeks to resolve.

Will I be able to breathe better after rhinoplasty?

In about 70% of rhinoplasty operations, we perform correction of the septum or turbinectomy together with the aesthetic rhinoplasty.
This improves breathing.
It is our quality protocol that all rhinoplasties, without exception, must be operated by a team of two specialists, one ENT-surgeon and one Plastic surgeon.
A large number of rhinoplasty patients are not even aware of impaired breathing before rhinoplasty surgery, because they have been used to their deviated septum all their life.

Does rhinoplasty involve a scar ?

Not usually.
We prefer the so-called closed technique for the majority if cases, which works with incisions inside the nose.
With this technique there are no visible scars after the rhinoplasty.

Will my insurance pay for rhinoplasty?

Health care insurers fund rhinoplasty for functional reasons, when septum corrections are necessary.
Rhinoplasty may also be funded to correct disfigurement after an accident.
Aesthetic rhinoplasty will not usually be covered by healthcare insurers.

Do I have to stay in hospital after rhinoplasty?

For maximum patient safety we prefer a one night stay after rhinoplasty surgery, in case any bleeding occurs after the procedure.
This is very rare, but we prefer to be cautious.

Janice had marked skin excess on the upper eyelid as well as deep creases under the lower eyelids, which appeared as bags, but were not really bags.
Janice had laser assisted upper eyelid blepharoplasty (eyelid lift)
She did not have lower eyelid blepharoplasty (eyelidlift) since that would have make her eyes look hollow.
Instead, she had micro fat grafts for the crease under her eyes.
We offered her some laser resurfacing for fine wrinkling around the eyes later, but she was happy with her results and did not want any more.
