Natural Breast Augmentation with fat transfer: A Modern,Safe and Effective Procedure
Fat transfers have a long history in medicine and have been performed for over a century, with very variable success.
Until very recently, the success rate was not convincing and somewhat coincidental, and the technique of fat transfer was somewhat troublesome both for patients and for surgeons.
Recent advances in technology have made fat transfers to the breast safer and more effective, and the fat transfer breast augmentation procedure is gaining in popularity as a more natural alternative to breast augmentation with breast implants.
Natural fat transfer breast augmentation
Modern techniques in fat transfer, mainly the Body Jet procedure, have converted fat transfer to the breast into a very safe and reliable procedure, giving very natural breast augmentation results with no scars and minimal recovery.
This technique of fat harvest for breast augmentation is known as „Body Jet“ in Europe and is popular under the name „Aqua-Lipo“ in the U.S.

Implants versus fat for breast enlargement
In Cirumed Clinic Marbella, we reserve the use of silicone gel implants in breast enlargement to cases of larger augmentations and cases where patients have no superfluous fat deposits.
Our preferred technique of breast enlargement (breast augmentation) is breast enlargement with the patient´s own fat.
We use jet liposuction to harvest fat for this procedure, which is currently accepted as the best and most effective way for fat transfer breast enlargement.
The technique is known as Body Jet in Europe and as Aqua Lipo in the U.S.

Our surgeons have recently published a series of 138 cases of combined body contouring procedures (”mummy makeovers”), which is the second largest series published so far (the largest series of 156 cases has been published in U.S. 2005).
The most frequent combination requested is laser abdominoplasty with breast uplift, either with or without implants.
Our findings have confirmed the results of previous papers which report “mummy makeover” to be a safe procedure with a very high degree of patient satisfaction.
Brazilian butt lift
The Brazilian butt lift is a body enhancement procedure that improves the shape and projection of the buttocks.
In simple terms, fat is taken from zones around the buttocks (flanks and thighs) and then transferred to enhance the buttocks.
At the same time problem zones around the buttocks, like love handles and thighs, are reduced.This effect does significantly contribute to an aetshetically pleasing buttock and is called „accentuation“.
Accentuation is a very important factor in Brazilian butt lift surgery.
Breast augmentation with fat grafts (Body-jet breast augmentation)
Fat grafting, which means harvesting fat from one region of the body and transferring it to another, has ever since been the dream of Plastic surgery.
In the past, the main problem has been absorption, although techniques regarding this have significantly improved.
